Oh dear, you weren't one of those suckered in by Fox and actually thought that Carlson was being honest with you about anything were you, in public at least? You must be real disappointed if so...
Have fun trying to prove that Tucker lied, you lying oinker.

For anyone somehow still unconvinced that Tucker Carlson was promoting falsehoods in public while having completely different sentiments in private then wow, you've really gotta be a "special" kind of gullible as of now. It's all over the place in all media with Republican backlash to boot. There's no denying it and Carlson isn't either. Then, how could he? His own words/texts no less in thorough detail in the following. His exchanges with his producer Alex Pfeiffer are especially telling.

Sounds like it, but it wasn't! It was something Trump did! Trump paid off a porn star to hide an affair. How wicked is that?
According to Jesus, the whole world lies in wickedness under the delusion of the devil. America needs godly leaders but godly leaders rarely get elected.

Two years of MAGA spinning Jan 6 as peaceful, non-violent, and patriotic. MAGA have convinced themselves, but they haven't managed to convince anyone else.

Had you reflected on it, you might have noticed that what you have written, here, is nothing more than a pointing out that mankind is politically polarized, written in incidental terms of the bias of your side of that polarization. But who isn't already aware of the obvious polarization you are noting?

See, the same, exact point you have made can, with little alteration, easily be recast in terms of the bias of the side opposite yours:

Two years of "anyone else" spinning Jan 6 as unpeaceful, violent, and unpatriotic. "Anyone else" have convinced themselves, but they haven't managed to convince MAGA.

Mostly peaceful

As Colby Hall wrote at Mediaite, Carlson’s report was initially met with silence from the other hosts and programs on Fox News—perhaps because they are treading cautiously due to the ongoing lawsuit against the channel by Dominion Voting Systems, or perhaps because Carlson’s conclusions are indefensible even by the network’s own low standards. When Special Report With Bret Baier finally addressed the Jan. 6 story head-on the next day, it did so skeptically, with correspondent Chad Pergram emphasizing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s outright rejection of Carlson’s narrative, and noting that Jan. 6 defendants “assaulted 140 police officers, some so badly they’ll never return to work.”

From your link:

"Carlson has spent much of the past two years attempting to downplay the Capitol riot, sneering at those people who justifiably claim that the incursion was one of the darkest days in modern American history."

That pretend denial and downplaying is all MAGA has in their authoritarian toolbox. Despite forever looking like a bewildered dog, Carlson knows what MAGA knows: the incongruity of law and order authoritarians attacking law and order.

In the press release by Kash Patel, posted below, there are two statements:

1) "A small number of people broke windows and attacked police officers, and they should be prosecuted."

2) "We need to help those January 6th defendants stand up against the Deep State."

Interesting contradiction there. Who is Patel trying to defend, if not those he says "should be prosecuted"?
