1. Beginning with Adam and Woman and through the days of Moses it is demonstrated how HE used IT. Not only did HE use HIS AUDIBLE VOICE [the WORD of God] to speak but used that body to appear. Why else would Adam have heard the WORD of and heard God WALKING? IOW, how could Adam have heard the footsteps of the WORD of God walking in the Garden? For what other reason would have Adam have thought he could hide from an omnipresent invisible Spiritual God unless there had been something finite/concrete from which to hide? And, oh, if God had not created an image for himself, how did 74 men eat safely in HIS presence and see HIS body of heaven in HIS clearness and say honesty, "We have seen God and were not harmed," unless HE manifested a bodily image/presence of HIS OWN unto them? Ex. 24:9-11

My opinion: function calls for power. God is LIFE and thus a source of power. For sure he placed functional information with the elements from which he formed Adam's body. I think where this happened was in Genesis 1:20-22 and picks it up again with mankind in Gen. 1;27-28.

Now, even JudgeRightly and Right Divider already understand I think Gen. 1 is where The Spirit of God is working and he is creating many things in a spiritual manner. IOW, not all is complete and ready for a life within a visible world at this point. He has created an environment, realm, the world, sun, moon, stars, and basic elements to form more. They always laugh. I forgive them. Just saying.

It will be in Gen. 2 where God the Spirit stops his work as the Spirit and begins next to manifested the things he he wants to inhabit what he has formed. sun moon, stars, and basic elements to form more.

Now, for Genesis 1:20-22; 27-28 The Function of life and power has been established ... in measures. See, nothing created will ever be equal to the Creator, but will be given measures as God wills. male and female had a measure of spiritual life at this stage but have not been given bodies ... neither have any of the living animals which God plans to manifest visually.

22 And God said, Let the waters [Gen. 1:2] bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life ... the foul ... great whales ... every living creature that moves [God the Spirit who is live moved upon those waters Gen. 1:2] ... God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply ... So God created man in his own image; male-female ... And God blessed them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth ...

There you have the function to biologically reproduce ... which is built in genetic life and power.

Now for Gen. 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Moses explains within verses 4-5 that these are the generations [a time period] when the LORD God works. I happen to have learned that name changes mean that something important has occurred. Like Elohiym to The LORD, or Abram to Abraham or Jacob to Israel, or Saul to Paul ... etc. So... who exactly is The LORD? Thus began my search to find out, which I have. Genesis 1 = God the invisible Spirit ..... Genesis 2 = God appearing within Creation with his image [Genesis 2:26-27] created before the world was. The image being the first of every creature!!! [Colossians 1:15]

This is who worked in Gen. 2 manifesting plants, animals, mankind and a Garden ... and what all. And this is the chapter where The God appearing As The LORD God gave another measure of biological life to mankind. The Spirit has already established the fruit within mankind and given the power to multiply ... now to manifest how it all will function.

God gives humanity a body after HIS own existing image and imparts power to it. IOW mankind has become a living spirit with a living body. It takes both to biologically function and reproduce.

Now, when did God add life to man's body? Answer. When he caused a mist to come upon the ground ... or a measure of water/aka life upon the elements without life which was called - dust.

Mankind's body came from the dust and will return to dust when that measure of life is finally removed from it.

Praise the LORD God that he will one day remove the curse upon the dust of the ground and make the world new and perfect. Our sinful lives will also be cleaned up and we will receive another measure of water/life from God where we will live in the presence of our LORD God.

Praise God for his wisdom and mercy and wonderful plan. That plan was our Lord Jesus. Amen

Jesus is the creator, not the created.
Color is perception of wavelength (an intrinsic property of light), it is not a hat that light wears.
And in court, one cannot simply wear a disguise to provide oneself with an alibi or to testify as 2 different people. That would be the equivalent of bearing false witness.

I so agree with you VladtheDestroyer Jesus, being known as The WORD is the creator, not the created.

Isaiah 43:11 God speaks: I, even I, AM The LORD; beside me there is no Savior.
I believe this 100 %!
In my words: God said, "I AM The LORD. Beside me, [who is God and LORD] there is no Savior.
IOW, One God who makes up the Godhead. Spirit, LORD Father, and Lord Savior Jesus.

Now, VladtheDestroyer, with which point do you disagree?

The spiritual WORD of God was not created ... he has eternally existed with God and as God [John 1:1-3] But Jesus was not just God the WORD, but was seen bodily having mortal flesh. Yet, he was able to say: When you have seen-me, you have-seen the Father.

How could he say this?
Answer: God created one image for HIMSELF and used IT more than once. The image was not God but was the first of all creatures God created.

John the Baptist also taught that the fleshly Jesus was THAT LIGHT but the world knew him not! What did that mean?
Answer: Well, it is hard to think of Jesus as having the glorious created image of God, which the people had read about in the OT ...as well as being The all powerful eternal Spiritual essence of God when he was hidden by mortal flesh that looked just like every typical human.

So how was Jesus THAT LIGHT? Scripture tells us that the presence of God dwells within inapproachable light.
[Read I Tim. 6:14-16] Remember how Moses asked to see The Glory of God's presence but he could not look upon the Glory of God's presence in its fulness due to the danger of it. [Read the account Ex. 33:18-23] The result was that Jesus bore that created image ... but hidden by flesh.

God has one created image and used it repeatedly in many realms where things can exist to represent him visually. Heavenly places, dreams, visions of glorious power or out right safely, and even in flesh. The image is not God but was created for God's use. [Colossian 1:15]

Now, just like God formed mankind as a living soul [IOWs a living spirit added to a living body]... so did he formed himself as the living sould we call The Christ.
