Gorilla Lives Matter

The world is not populated exclusively by normal people as Doser pointed out there are retards, morons and imbeciles among us and when we build we must keep them safe from things like holes, gorillas and scrap metal shredding machines just to name a few.

I prefer fencing adequate to protect gorillas from free range toddlers. Work the problem from that angle and the result will be much safer for everyone.

Is people falling into the gorilla pit a weekly occurrence?
It only takes once.
Parents allowed the kid to get through.
The fence allowed the kid to get thru, look, this is really simple stuff, if you want to argue about it then check your cities web site for swimming pool code and call the building dept. and argue with them about it. The fence in that picture would get your kidde pool drained until you made changes.

there appears to be two rows of six inch pipe set close to the ground that would make a great step up for a little kid

Right, it might be the correct height from finished floor but having those logs stacked there (which the kid in the photo looks to be standing on) means you have to measure from where someone could get a foot hold.

I read that it was a 15 foot drop to the moat so I guess that's what keeps the gorillas in until they perfect their catapult.

If the fence had calliope music, balloons, flashing lights and a robot clown waving a downward pointing arrow with a recording that said, "Ball pit this way, kids!" then I might agree.

Parents are ultimately responsible for THEIR at ALL times kids or they're not.

who wants to take bets on how long it'll take the retards on social media to find something else to occupy their time?

The zoo showed questionable restraint. World War I biplanes are the usual means of dealing with rampaging primates who've taken a hostage. It's the only way to be sure.

If you stop giving warnings for what should be an obvious danger, all the stupid people will eventually be gone.

their add-affected attention spans are already wandering:

If you stop giving warnings for what should be an obvious danger...

 that sounds suspiciously like victim blaming
