Guns!

Not sure it would make any difference in the shooting that I do with an old Nylon 66, but it's neat to see modern approaches to improving a very very old cartridge.

A popular sentiment on Facebook and Reddit today, put forward by those lacking critical thinking skills. If it really was THE GUNS, explain why the killing stopped when the retard holding the guns was killed.

Typical Gateway Panic.

It was a Routine inspection, which all federal firearm licensees undergo. The inspection entails looking over records and conducting inventory. "They are not in trouble," said Nathan Banks, a spokesman for the ATF's Atlanta field division "... This happens to all the federal firearm licensees, they all get inspected in some form or fashion. We don't have a time that we do it, and we don't have to announce it."

Banks said the inspectors will likely wrap up their inspection Thursday or Friday, and the store will probably not be inspected again for another year or two.

Erik Longnecker, an ATF spokesman, said the store was being inspected by a major inspection team (MIT), which is staffed with investigators from throughout the country.

The teams provide support and assistance to local field divisions with "complex inspections involving large inventories
, sites and/or other factors," Longnecker said.

Adventure Outdoors on its website bills itself as "the actual largest gun store in the world."

According to Congressman Rich McCormick, quoted in the GP article, "this WAS NOT an annual or regularly planned inspection" (emphasis mine), and was "unprecedented to have that many inspectors come for especially a dealership that has just renewed their Federal Firearms License (FFL)," per Barry Loudermilk.

They apparently left the store after meeting members of Congress. Why leave if there's nothing wrong with their inspection?

The Congressmembers from Georgia said these 15 officers came from multiple states. One Representative said they came from 14 different states to intimidate this “flagship” gun store. “There’s 20 inspectors here in the Atlanta area,”

What about "We don't have a time that we do it, and we don't have to announce it" is unclear? What about their saying they'd "wrap up their inspection Thursday or Friday" is unclear?
