If God wants to make laws, He needs to run for office just like everyone else

Um, let's see. Some states had homo marriage illegal. Some states didn't. The new law made it mandatory every state shall recognize same sex marriage and grant license for it. That's new.

The law itself isn't new and was not created by the SCOTUS. The law is already in the constitution according to SCOTUS opinion.

When Jesus returns, He is not going to wait for you to give Him the thumbs up. You'll have to vote with your feet, not to mention your arms and the rest of your body. Oh, and you'll probably be made to carry a weapon.

So Jesus is a tyrant in your opinion?

No, marriage is not new.

They didn't create marriage.

SCOTUS didn't make the drinking fountain, they just said that you have to let the gays drink from it.

They changed the drinking fountain and ignored states rights.

To all you Christians who want to use "God's Law" to govern the country:

God isn't President, Obama is.

Actually, obama isn't, but we all fake like he is, because nobody cares anymore that to be natural born citizen, you have to be born to two us citizens; obama has repeatedly said that his father wasn't a us citizen.

Otherwise ... yes, so? Of course God isn't president. God possesses all perfections and actually defines what is right and what is wrong and what is and is not law; always has, always will.

God isn't on the Supreme Court, 9 men and women are.

God can't screw up. The people on the court can, and have - repeatedly.

God was never authorized to represent my interests and make policy on my behalf as a senator or representative.

Of course he wasn't authorized. He didn't and doesn't need to be.

If God wants to make laws, He needs to run for office like everybody else.

Irrational.

Selfish too.

Pssst, just don't tell B. Hussein Obama that he isn't God, he's very sensitive about that topic.

It's funny how often conservative Christians say things like that, but when it's put back to them as something like, "Oh, so you want to overturn our current government and replace it with a theocracy", ...

This is, at best, just flatly ignorant.

theocracy
Definition of theocracy in English:
1A system of government in which priests rule in the name of God or a god.
https://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/american_english/theocracy

Romans 13 gives the power of the "sword" to the state; NOT to the church;
Matthew 16 gives the power of the "keys" to the church; NOT to the state.

Power of sword = enforcement by physical force, kill, destroy, tax.
Power of keys = put heretics out of the christian church, pray for people,

Sword= physical force, not spiritual
Keys = spiritual force, not physical

This is purely biblical, has always been there, and is obvious by the same rules of grammatical-historical deductive Let-the-author define himself reading that's always been the right way to read the bible.

Any modern theocracy in the name of the bible would be unbiblical.

The law itself isn't new and was not created by the SCOTUS. The law is already in the constitution according to SCOTUS opinion.

SCOTUS are wrong. Besides the public fact that the 14th amendment was never ratified - and if you say that it was, you knowingly or unknowingly must affirm that it's proper to make constitutional amendments literally at the "tip of the sword" by military oppression - the right to re-define what the word "marriage" means in law (which is what was being asked for, even the SCOTUS pointed this out) is not an enumerated or non-enumerated right.
