If you are fasting for the day of atonement you do not believe in Yeshua.

That rigorous fast was done so that Yah would accept the expiation on the day of atonement.

Lev. 16:29...you shall humble your souls [fasting] and not do any work, whether the native, or the alien who sojourns among you; 30 for it is on this day that atonement shall be made for you to cleanse you; you will be clean from all your sins before the Lord.

The book of Hebrews says 10:14 For by one offering He [Yeshua] has perfected for all time those who are [g]sanctified.

Your fasting says HE HAS NOT. Which is right?

Perhaps the Leviticus passage has a slightly different meaning and intention than the majority have understood and, (perhaps) it might better read such as the following: And this shall be a statute for ever unto you; that in the seventh month, in the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country or a stranger that sojourns among you: BECAUSE IN THIS DAY, (the day in which Nadab and Abihu died, 14/15 Abib) shall the atonement be made for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before YHWH. :)

No more atonement blood needs to be shed. Jesus Christ was the ultimate sacrifice for us. This was for the Aaronic Priesthood which is over.

You seem to think that fasting has something to do with killing an animal to get blood for a covering.
It does not.

Fasting is a way of humbling yourself.

1 Peter 5:6
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:​

Jesus did not abolish fasting.

"But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in that day" (Mark 2:19).
