Darby's doctrine of the pre-tribulation rap is now so prevalent [esp through it's promotion by Schoffield] that people do not know the modern source for it.

The church has always held the post-trib view...apart from one or two down through the centuries.

Christ was post-trib for He says "AFTER the tribulation of those days.......they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory and He will send His angels out to gather His elect..."

You do not believe in replacement theology?
Of course you don't. That wasn't the point.

Here, God is going to choose 144k Jews to do something unique.
God is going to choose two Jews (not OT Jews, but unknown Jews) that He will elevate to the position of prophet.

What if any are your observations?

There are as many interpretations of Revs as there are theologians, no two agree as to the meaning of it.

I do not draw prophecy from Revs, you do not have to. There is more than sufficient in the OT prophets, in the gospels and in the epistles.

Understand prophecy in those books first then let Revs fit into them.

People try to learn Revs and seek to make the open scriptures squeeze into it...whether it will or not.
