Midwest and Sothwest airlines canceling flights

Between the two airlines they have canceled than a thousand flights. Southwest is blaming a new FAA requirement and American says it is being affected by a pilot shortage.

Funny how only Southwest is being affected by the new FAA requirement. Sounds more like they are experiencing the same problem American is experiencing as Southwest passengers whose flights are cancelled say there very few Southwest employees on the job. Both airlines just mandated mandatory vaccinations. Think there is a walkout going on over mandatory vaccinations?

We seem have a full-blown rebellion happening in this country, finally. The American public is finally waking up to the coercion being used and are saying Enough! It seems the airline pilots are the first to really make a stand. We owe them a lot and need to support them by joining them. We can do no less for them than they are doing for us..

Southwest Airlines pilots did not walk out on our passengers. We were stranded, too.

Captain Michael Santoro is the vice president of the Southwest Airlines Pilots Association.

Recently, a national news narrative arose falsely implying that Southwest Airlines pilots walked out on their passengers, forcing them to cancel important family plans and leaving them stranded all over the country. And the untrue rumors indicated that they did this over a protest from the airline’s vaccine mandate policy.

As a Southwest Airlines pilot myself, I can tell you the truth. And the truth is, Southwest Airlines pilots did not cause our airline’s operational problems last weekend, and the data definitively shows this.

To have a walkout, you must have a significant increase in pilots failing to show up to work. But the reality is, that data doesn’t exist. There has not been a dramatic spike in pilot sick call rates anywhere in the month of October. What actually happened was Southwest Airlines pilots and flight attendants were stranded away from their homes and families, right alongside our passengers. Much like our passengers, many of our crews were unable to find hotel rooms. That only exacerbated Southwest’s problems as numerous pilots were not legally permitted to fly due to a lack of rest before getting behind the controls of an airliner.

What the data does show is:

► Record rates of Southwest pilots working overtime to help complete the schedule in October.

► High rates of Southwest pilots working overtime – both voluntary and involuntary — throughout summer 2021.

► A network disruption on Friday, Oct. 8, followed by a dense flight schedule Saturday, Oct. 9, with an increase of pilot flying time by 8.2% from the previous weekend left no margin for recovery. . . .

Just because no 'do-gooder government bootlick' wants to assess blame on the vaccine is no justification for blindly declaring the vaccine was not to blame.

The names of people who died are given in the video in the post. We reviewed their obituaries and found no mention of COVID-19, a vaccine, or the coronavirus.

The obituary of one of the men says he died of kidney cancer. The obituary of a second man says he died after a utility task vehicle accident. The family requested that people attending his memorial service "wear masks to protect those who are immunocompromised, have health problems, and/or are vulnerable." The obituary for a third man, a JetBlue crew member, just says that he died "unexpectedly," and obituaries for the other two men make no mention of cause of death.

Searching more broadly online we found nothing to connect their deaths to the COVID-19 vaccine.

We previously fact-checked a similar claim that the death of four British Airways pilots was connected to the COVID-19 vaccine. British Airways said the deaths weren’t connected to the vaccine. We rated that claim False.

Perhaps the foolish government vaccine mandates are affecting decisions by pilots to walk out rather than submit to the dangerous vaccine that has hurt or killed so many people since it was introduced.

Trump said the vaccines are wonderful. Are you calling Trump a lying shill for the Deep State's Fauci-ouchies? Yes, you are.

There is a difference between having wrong opinions and lying. Trump's opinion was wrong but it was not a lie any more than your every bad opinion is a lie.

Many airlines have introduced a mandatory vaccination requirement for covid 2019
A lot of flies are very attracted to flypaper.. That must mean the majority of flies are always correct.

It''s pretty apparent you've never listened to a single word any whistleblower has ever said. Or do you even know they exist?
