I admit that I have a long, long way to go in my study of the Bible and the Jesus revealed in it.
How exactly have I ignored what you have said? Please show me the specific words and phrases I used that cause you to think that way.
According to my thinking and beliefs:
1.You called me a fool.
2.I presented evidence that Jesus taught that anyone who calls someone a fool is not immune to real-world consequences of their behavior.
3.You became defensive and incensed and changed the subject from what Jesus said specifically into a way to support your feelings toward me in a way that could theologically protect yourself while damning me.

Your intentions are good. You have good underlying instincts of respect and fair treatment.
To me the problem is that your personal ways of satisfying those good intentions tends to be immature and mocking.
You have many other choices available to you to communicate your thoughts and feelings to others. Choices that you may have been unaware of growing up the way you did.
If you want to change minds, learn how to say what you want to say in ways that will be listened to and heard. Most of us don't like to be mocked or called names.
