Early predictions?
The dust is still settling in NE. McDaniels is apparently staying now, as Offensive coordinator? Patricia is I think officially gone (to head coach Detroit), need a new Defensive coordinator (which surprises nobody who watched the SB). Still we wonder why Malcom Butler, hero of SB 49, was the goat of SB 52. Most of us think Butler may have tackled better than Row and Bademosi, but the only thing we know for certain is that Belichick said it was a football decision to sit him, and Butler said it was a football decision, so it wasn't disciplinary, Belichick may have simply concluded finally that he had to put his foot down and overrule Patricia wanting Butler in there, which is interesting given it was Patricia's last game as Defensive coordinator. Gronk got Robbed while he was away at the SB, and made it sound like it wasn't certain that he won't retire this offseason. Brady will be 41, and just played three postseason games with average passer rating of over 108, throwing no interceptions, and for over 500 yards in a single SB, his postseason rating this year being higher than his MVP-earning regular season stats, so he played better in the postseason than he did during the regular season, and his regular season play earned him the MVP award. The guy is bionic.
The odds that a Pennsylvania team wins, are shorter than the odds NE wins next year.
