Atlanta just tied the game against New England—except they didn't—the kicker missed the extra point. You really hate to see a team lose like that, as a football fan, but I'm a NE fan, so I just have to live with it.
But now, Atlanta just got the ball back (after a three-and-out by NE) with three timeouts, so things are looking up for them.

3rd and 5 for NE, Atlanta out of timeouts. And NE converts. Now they just run out the clock, try not to fumble, Maye. And he didn't. Pats win, 7-and-2 now. They win against these teams that aren't very good, that's what you want to see in a team trying to turn it around. At least beat the bad teams. And they're doing that.
