I'm not sure if we have many hockey fans but I used to know every player in the league and every team they ever played for. As a kid my favorite team was Montreal and I still love the red and blue uniforms.

I have always been a Blues fan and they always do good during the season but can't hang in the playoffs, they have a curse of sorts.

It's the only major sports championship St. Louis is missing. We have NBA, NFL, MLB but Lord Stanley's Cup seems so far away. Anyway, I know we have quite a few Canadians and border folks, I think we may have more hockey fans than baseball fans.

only in the playoffs, they'll whoop you in the regular season.

I'm not really a big hockey fan, but I did watch when the Pittsburgh Penguins won a couple Stanley Cups in the early 90's with Lemieux & Jagr, and then a few years ago when they won another Stanley Cup with Crosby & Malkin.

The Penguins have had some good teams since 1990, but I would much rather watch NBA Basketball over NHL Hockey.

In fact, I have gone to more NBA games in Cleveland (1.5 hours away), than to Penguin games here (20 minutes away)

Yeah, Pittsburgh is a good hockey town too. Somebody should start a NBA thread. Kick it off with Lamar Odom.

So you get to see Lebron now

The only problem is now the tickets are really expensive.

I only went to one Cavs game last year, however it was a good one. It was when they played the Spurs.

Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili all played for the Spurs, and James, Love, and Irving all played for the Cavs.
