The full interview with Dr. Jenks is up. In this interview Jon and Dr. Jenks (former professor of Moody Bible Institute) come together to talk about the fundamental truths that happened at the cross. They delve into what exactly Paul meant when he said that because of the cross he has died to sin and how that should impact our lives. This episode may surprise you that God is more loving and gracious than we give him credit for.

I think that Jenks missed it.

When Jesus died on the cross all of humanity died in him, Romans 6:6. When Jesus came out of Joseph's new tomb our new humanity came out with him. We are now new creations in Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:17.

This is how we are saved. We are saved by the doing and the dying of Jesus, plus nothing, except for faith.
