Pope Enthroned Between Cherubim

From the Catholic National, July of 1895: "The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, but he is Jesus Christ, Himself, hidden under the veil of flesh."

Joseph Devarbe's Catechism says, on page 279: "The priest does really and truly forgive sins in virtue of the power given to him by Christ."

Another from The Catholic Priest, pages 78,79: "Seek where you will, through heaven and earth, and you will find but one created being who can forgive the sinner, who can free him from the chains of hell, that extraordinary being is the priest, the (Roman) Catholic priest. Yes, beloved brethren, the priest not only declares that the sinner is forgiven, but he really forgives him. The priest raises his hand, he pronounces the word of absolution, and in an instant, quick as a flash of light the chains of hell are burst asunder, and the sinner becomes a child of God. So great is the power of the priest that the judgements of heaven itself are subject to his decision."

Why is it whenever I research a supposed claim to it's root they are never what is being represented. there is something diabolical about this.

In ancient Europe, including Italy, a moon goddess was worshiped before the advent of Christianity. This goddess was often seen standing on a crescent moon. After Catholicism became a state religion in Italy, the moon goddess was replaced by the Virgin Mary, who is often depicted standing on a moon.

Revelation 12:1
A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.

Be specific. Please articulate.

I became Protestant because the number of "claims" against the Catholic church were so numerous. However, after researching they generally fall into a couple categories:

1. mistranslation (CARM is a good example)
2. quote taken out of context (CARM is a good example)
3. an inaccurate statement from a Catholic either due to misinformation about RCC beliefs or poor choice of words that are attributed as Catholic doctrine.
4. not understanding the Pope is a sinner capable of mistakes when not making declarations about Church doctrine.

Interestingly, one of the mainstay arguments for Protestants is that supposedly we Catholics believe that the Pope is perfect like God so they believe when they find mistakes in the Pope's life that this means he must be the antichrist. However, this is based on the false notion that the pope cannot make mistakes, and thus this logic is invalid. In other words the Protestant create this false perception of the pope and then when he inevitably fails they claim he was the antichrist. This is deception pure and simple and those who do this purposely are playing with fire by enabling an unclean spirit to come into their life. I do not recommend this because the devil is real and can wreak havoc in our personal lives if we deal in half truths.

Ironically, after having attended various Protestant churches over many years I was told when the Pastor was "in the Spirit" he cannot make a mistake.

The prostitute is the USA. No other country has separated the Body of Christ more nor promoted prostitution through pornography through it's media and public schools. Furthermore, just like prostitutes in ancient times they kill their children. Worse, is now they have modern medicine to do it. That is why abortion is the number one cause of homicide in the world at 26 to 30 million, which is much greater than the next cause of homicide - firearms at 450,000. Furthermore, no one promotes child sacrifice around the world more than the US. Throw in the all out promotion of homosexuality around the world by the US and there is no question the US is the prostitute.

America is this beast:

Revelation 13:11
[ The Beast out of the Earth ] Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.

I was asking you if you saw any mistake on my part.

Conspicuously the first claim has no reference that can be verified.

At any rate let's say a Catholic, even a religious, makes a false claim about Catholic doctrine this still does nothing to detract from the actual doctrine.

After all, if a person from your denomination makes a false claim about the denomination's beliefs it would not be logical to assume that said beliefs are false based on a simple declaration if there is more definitive evidence of the denominations true doctrine.

Such is the case with the RCC, our doctrine and beliefs are there for everyone to investigate themselves.

You forget, I became a Protestant and returned to the RCC. There are thousands of "supposed" claims about the RCC and I have investigated many over the course of 20 years, nonetheless they do not undermine RCC doctrine.

If you were interested in the truth you wouldn't ignore the fact that your sources are refuted but question the sources given the diabolical nature of promoting half truths. Yet you continue.

This is England:

Revelation 13:2
The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.
