So, probably not liking those gas prices all that much then eh? Don't blame ya, neither do many other Americans. Hey, Britain has more than its share of problems and I wouldn't deny it, but if you still can't see through your spray tanned leader yet and the damage he's causing just to your own country, then carry on seeing the emperor in all his AI glory...

Islamism has always been an existential threat to modern human life, to everything we love and hold dear, to all of our shared, rich, traditional values, going all the way back to our Christian roots.

You have to keep a situation like that under your constant control. Sometimes you need to war against them. Just to make sure they don't get too uppity and too powerful or too organized or too dangerous. You can't let that happen, and if it were to happen on President Trump's watch, he'd be liable, he'd go down in history as one of the worst presidents ever.

He's not going to let that happen to him, or to us. Our interests are aligned.

The base have so much invested in Trump, that to admit they were wrong, that they were deceived, is all but impossible. Some of them will grab the life ring tossed to them by Trump's war with Iran - they can claim the war is a dealbreaker, there weren't supposed to be more wars, and that's what's happening with a few, I've been reading their comments.

Hopefully enough will start seeing MAGA for what it is, a cult of personality, and start the road back to a more recognizable conservatism. When they've lost even the Reagan administration's David Stockman, it's clear how far MAGA gone astray.

The thing that gets me is that Trump's failing brain clued in that he might have gone too far this time. So, following his usual playbook, he told a blatant lie. An obvious lie. A lie that no one with two brain cells to rub together would buy. Trump doesn't care.
Now, there might still be a few unfortunate souls out there that do buy it. Can't be too many though. Most of those people are too dumb to survive for long. But for the rest of his cult, they know it's a lie but they pretend it's plausible. "Yeah, yeah, Trump thought he was a doctor, that's all." Lying to themselves. And Trump, being the conniving reptile that he is, knows this. It doesn't matter how far he goes, what outrageous lie he offers. His cult will accept it and continue to defend him and sell their own souls. After all, Satan is the father of lies, right?
But some, are breaking free from the cult, unwilling to immerse themselves in Trump's filth any longer. A faint light at the end of the tunnel....
