Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) on Sunday morning futures today, said concerning covid-19, it "originated in one of those two laboratories in Wuhan" then a moment later he says "or where ever it originated" . . . The sad truth is he has no idea where this or any virus came from.

God created viruses,. What exactly for, we can speculate and in time, we can probably discover His good reasoning but that will never happen until we acknowledge the truth. God created.

Unless your foundation is Gen. 1:1 , you have no basis to even discuss what course of action you or a society should take concerning an epidemic. If the context for you life is not "in the beginning God created" then your life is based on a pretext, just like Tom Cotton.

Tom Cotton, a professing Christian man should know this but he doesn't, frankly no one does and that is why there is panic. So unnecessary and so so sad.

That post is a fallacy. It ignores the genetic aspect of sin and what sin has done to humanity over the centuries.

Adam and Eve were created sinless. After sin they passed on their bent to sin to all of their descendants. Their first born was the first murderer. This demonstrates a very rapid descent into wickedness, not some slow and gradual descent that would come from only the influence from environmental sources.

Paul tells us he was "sold into sin". In other words it came upon him from a source he could not avoid. David said he was "shapen in iniquity and in sin did his mother conceive" him. He had no choice as to whether or not he would be sinful.

What does that have to do with viruses? That the genetics of viruses changed from what they were pre-sin and post-sin, just as human beings did. So, no, God didn't create the coronavirus. It was changed from a beneficial virus, without the HIV delivery system added by man, to a destructive system. Your position also ignores the hatred of humanity because it was created in the image of God, and the technical abilities of beings out to destroy both God and mankind that were turned to evil purposes because of sin. As angels were created to be a higher life form than humanity they have a higher functioning brain and level of technical knowledge. So if humanity can mess with dna so can angels as they have been around far longer than any human has. They have lived hundreds, if not thousands of times longer than humans which means they have the ability to research and study things for much longer than humans can. That leads to them individually having much greater knowledge than mankind. Where humans can only study for a few decades, meaning they can only begin at a lesser knowledge than the previous generation had on any one subject an individual angel can keep building his store of knowledge, with no restarting point, for thousands of years giving angels a huge advantage in technical knowledge over humans.

First, the Bible doesn't say Cain was the first born. Try reading the Bible literally.

Second, God created viruses as you correctly noted, that would include the HIV virus. Man didn't/can't create viruses. If you look to and believe in Gen. 1:1 it will help you look through the fog of conventional "wisdom" that all viruses are bad. God created and said it was good :)
