I'm going to go out on a limb here, and guess that October will end at the exact same time that November begins.
Harold Camping was a false prophet like Oct23. These Knuckleheads
never learn. Camping was a "Dutch Reformed Church member" at
one time. He kept "predicting" the end of the world. I was in touch
with a guy who helped to put Camping on the map. This was during
Camping's last prediction. Camping "guaranteed" that his prophesy
would come to fruition. People sold their worldly goods and helped,
spread Camping's end of world prophesy.
Back to the guy who helped put Camping in business. He told me, that
he was very sorry he played a part in helping Camping be in a
position of eventually, causing so much grief for so many people.
Oct23 is one of those "Weirdo's."

I had a friend in college who happened to be a pretty staunch atheist. He gave up on religion when his family followed the Watchtower's lead in 1975 with much the same result.

It becomes November at the exact moment that October ends. There's no gap between the end of October and the start of November, is there?

Yes, even there. New Year's Day in Australia before it's New Year's in the U.S. for example.

The question would have some sense to it if there was a recognized asteroid on the radar that had an arrival date.
Otherwise, there are CME's that could do the same thing that 2 Pet 3 is referring to, without the convenience of a "radar warning."
