Powell's comments early this year when he said the unemployment rate in January was around that number.

What if politicians and fiscal experts are wrong about the danger of overspending? Very bad things will happen. At any rate, hardly a day goes by anymore without some news report quoting officials and experts admitting they were wrong in their prognostications and promotions, much to the serious harm of all Americans.
