The Death Penalty should be applied equally to all ages

Yeah, but unfortunately for you, you live in the USA not Russia or Saudi Arabia or some other totalitarian state.
My comment was just to emphasize trial by a jury of one's peers goes back a long way in English common law.
Yes, you can always waive that right, but, at least at the moment it cannot be taken away from you.
To suggest that a nine year old should be subject to the death penalty is simply --- sorry, I have trouble coming up with the correct word--ridiculous does not seem strong enough.

Do you believe in equity?

You "nicer than God" folks are something else.

Do you think holding five year old children as accountable for their actions as a fully grown adult to be 'Godly'? To convict them and execute them for 'capital crimes'? Even America, as insane a it is with the present leadership right now, wouldn't dream of going that far.

You waffling doesn't count.

It's called sanity, Arthur. Something you wouldn't know about, because of how insane you are.

Who WOULDN'T recognize that a NINE YEAR OLD RAPING A FIVE YEAR OLD is an abomination, and that the only rational solution is to eliminate the abomination from society, so that he cannot reoffend.

Dogwhistle moment.

Advocating for the death penalty for someone who raped a five year old is not "extremist."

It's NORMAL.

Irrelevant.

Waffle.

This you?

Spoiler

Oh, and before I forget to address this, since I forgot last time:

No, that's not what I said.

My solution is to put people to death who commit crimes that are worthy of the death penalty, REGARDLESS of mental health, because IF a mentally ill person is incapable of understanding why killing someone is not to be done, they are a danger to society, and, having already committed the act, they are no longer "just a risk." They have actually harmed society, and should be removed from it, because they have demonstrated that they are unable to control their impulses like a normal member of society does.

False.

You mean like the five year old who was raped by a nine year old?

So protected!

No.

I advocate putting young children who have committed capital crimes to death.

There's a difference.

If you're not intellectually honest enough to recognize that distinction, then it's clear you'll never understand the "why" that I alluded on Page 1 of this thread.

For the reasons explained previously.

You're certainly welcome to your opinions, but that's all they are.

God will triumph in the end.

Wow, you completely messed that one up.

There's not even any point in attempting a response, because it so missed the point, it's not even in the same country, let alone the same ballfield...

Jesus is the reason for the season, Arthur.

Merry Christmas.

Who said he was?

Or to enact a punishment, for that matter.

Thanks for putting into words how I feel every time I talk to you. I appreciate it. Truly!

You have advocated on this forum, that it's fine for five year old kids to be executed JR, to the 'point' where they could be stabbed to death as an "appropriate" form of execution. To anyone with a functioning moral compass, even of sorts, that is beyond sickening. You never could provide Biblical support, specifically to uphold that position. Care to give it another try and not a vague verse where it would need to be contorted to have it apply to toddlers and infants?

If we allow one person to get away with a crime, what does it teach other criminals?
