Money and political power have always been linked. That's not the deep state, but I don't expect to convince you of that.

When your "card-carrying" deep staters lurch from Jeff Sessions to Obama to Sally Yates, you've got a credibility problem.
I know. You're too far down the rabbit hole, and you've invested too much.
Who is the "deep state" exactly? Do you have a list of names?
They don't out themselves. But Donald Trump, who calls himself a former "insider" and therefore would know far more about it than either of us, mentions the deep state all the time.

I skipped through (not going to sit through 18+ minutes of Joe Rogan) until I found the JFK reference.
Rogan plays an excerpt from this speech, which is addressed to the American press. Nothing in there about the deep state.

No, I think the current travesty of a president talks deranged rubbish...
I must defend Joe Rogan here. He's actually a very broad-minded and rather enlightened person imo. He describes himself as being left of center politically, and he invites people from all across the political spectrum to be on his podcast. It's worth surveying his past podcasts and listening to any that may interest you. For example, he has interviewed Jon Stewart, Edward Snowden, Bernie Sanders, Louis Theroux, Bill Maher, Andrew Yang, Krystal & Saagar, Sean Carroll, Sam Harris, and many other interesting and informative individuals. :up:
Eisenhower also warned us about the military-industrial complex. And he was a Republican!

I think you and he share libertarian views?
As personal preference, I'd rather read than listen, so it's rare I'll listen to anyone's podcast or youtube content.
I do know Rogan has a history of racist and sexist comments, has boosted Alex Jones, is a 911 truther, thinks we didn't land on the moon, and more. Is he a QAnon believer by any chance? I don't know.

Regarding his military-industrial warning - Eisenhower was right.

Rogan has changed his views on many issues over the years, including those you've listed, so he is very willing and capable of rational thought. That's more than can be said for many people.
I've never heard Rogan comment on QAnon, but based on what I know of him, I'd say he is not a Q believer.

Raised. Although my practice is lacking, my belief isn't.
He chucked the moon hoax out the window years ago. 9/11 inside job as well, I think. Rogan and Alex Jones were friends back in the '90s before anyone hardly knew who either of them were. Rogan takes an unbiased view of Jones, and I have heard Rogan call him out where appropriate.
I personally haven't heard Rogan make racist or sexist comments, although I haven't listened to everything he's ever said.
