I imagine it's because (or related to) this:

Apart from being a total hypocrite, he's also a liar and a control freak.

Thats part of it, but mostly it is because of his Thanksgiving edict:

So, it's Tuesday morning, and you walk into a supermarket. Not wearing a mask, of course, because you are free! If other shoppers are disturbed by this, or have pre-existing conditions (maybe they are one of the many millions with diabetes or high blood pressure) they can just leave!

Now it's Thursday evening, and you are visiting your brother in the hospital. Not wearing a mask, of course, because you are free! If other visitors, patients or medical staff are disturbed by this- they can just leave!

Do I have this right?

Fascist socialism imposed on us, courtesy of lockdowns and fools who buy the democrat party line:

We are Paul Revere
My neighbor has the right to choose to be afraid.

If he is afraid that I unknowingly carry an illness, he has the right to be afraid of me. He has the right to stay away from me. But he does not have the right to control me, detain me, or deface me.

If he comes near me and I am ill, he may catch my illness. If he fears my illness he can stay away.

I will come to him if he needs me, even if he’s sick.

When we are well, I’ll eat with him in a restaurant, sit next to him in a theatre or wait in line with him at the grocery store. I’ll never force him to do anything against his will and I expect the same respect from him.

I accept the inherent risk of death in life. If I should inadvertently catch an illness from him, I will not hold him responsible. Even if I perish. This is how it’s always been, and it’s how it should always be.

If I am knowingly ill, I pledge to respect my neighbors and contain my illness as best I can while still providing for myself and my family. I cannot guarantee that I will not spread a pathogen, but I will be considerate.

I promise to never rob, murder, envy, vandalize or bear false witness against my neighbor.

I am going to repeat a post of mine. My intent is not to spam, but rather to give what I consider to be a summary of this election, and why we should all now RESIST as your posts says to do:

Why Democrats Happily Lie about Cheating in the Election: This is very simple:

Democrats are people who burn down cities, murder cops, terrorize neighborhoods, have roving Nazi brownshirts (BLM and Antifa), shut down churches, impose Nazi curfews, and so much more. Do any of you think for a moment that a little thing like election fraud bothers them? Lying about an election is peanuts compared to the crimes against humanity they happily commit.

I have said it before:

Democrats are the party of infanticide, socialism, government control, smashing Free Speech rights, giving free stuff to illegal aliens, and now they are the party of mobs in the streets burning and destroying cities. See the burning cities and torn down statues, and you see the democrat party world. Mobs.

Republicans are the party of Traditional Values, Liberty and freedom. Donald Trump gave us the lowest unemployment rates since John F Kennedy until the virus hit, and now Democrats are trying to keep the virus going because they are so evil they are happy to destroy the economy simply to defeat Trump. That’s right. Masks and continued shutdowns are a joke, based totally on fear. There is a 0.04 death rate for Corona. People have more chance of dying from the Flu.

A totalitarian socialist state of mobs is what the Democrats offer, and liberty and freedom and jobs-not-mobs is what Trump offers.

And I can provide a link to prove each claim in this post.

Times are not normal. And yes, I noticed that you didn't actually respond to my post. What will happen in that supermarket or hospital?
Precisely. I doubt anyone enjoys wearing masks, I certainly don't. I wear them not because I'm mandated to (and it would be easy enough to go to a shop without one without penalty frankly) but because it's responsible. I don't wear them to protect myself but others.

If you don't have Covid then you are not protecting anybody. LOL!!! It does not take a genius to figure that out.

Do you wear a mask every Flu season to protect others? Tens of thousands die every year from the Flu. Where was your mask every year.

THAT is proof that you are a liar. If you wanted to protect others you would have worn a mask every Flu season.

Spare us your high and mighty nonsense. Masks are for idiots and they do more harm than good.

AND NOW to the main topic::

The Time has Come to disobey.

The thread is partly about the masks.

It's hardly "high and mighty" to wear a mask. It's just responsible is all and it's possible to be infected with Covid without having any symptoms. Oh, and the issue of masks is actually on topic as well. This is a pandemic and it's in no way idiotic to take sensible precautions, especially for the wellbeing of others.

Sensible precautions do not include a lockdown nor a shutdown of an entire economy. All businesses are essential to the people who run them, because they are their livelihoods.

Shutdowns kill people.

You want to have compassion on your neighbor?

Tell your government to do away with the same methods that the CCP uses to control its population.

They probably won't listen, because they've learned that making people afraid is the easiest way to control them, and too many of the people in the government are control freaks who love power. It's like giving drugs to a drug addict, alcohol to a drunkard, sugar to a child.

Stop the nonsense now, before it's too late (and unfortunately for many, it already is).

Mandatory mask wearing is called defacement.

I have a God-given right to my identity, and you cannot take that away from me by requiring me to wear a mask.

It's irresponsible to go along with promoting and instilling fear in others of a virus that ultimately only amounts to a bad flu.

Freedom of association, communication and assembly are the rights that dictators fear the most, because people can use them to unite against oppression.

These are exactly what the fascist mask and lockdown edicts are stripping us of, the tools we need as free people to protect our rights.

Unfortunately they can do and in the midst of a pandemic a lockdown or restrictive measures are necessary to curtail the spread of a virus. It's too simplistic to dismiss such measures because if you allow a virulent strain to continue unchecked then it spirals all the more. Even with the UK lockdown measures, the NHS was struggling to cope until the infection rate flattened and it was all too inevitable that a second wave was going to hit. Many people at the front line died because of this thing and that in no way undermines the obvious and in some cases devastating effect this has had on the economy.

I do not make light of that and nor do I agree with plenty of the tier restrictions that are going to be coming into place come next week over here. They're inconsistent and target the hospitality industry in the main that is going to have a significant impact on smaller businesses, especially if it carries on until the end of March next year. Not only that, the impact on people's health, both physical and mental. It's not an easy situation but it can't be reduced to soundbites.

People are already afraid without any governmental help. This virus can kill, the hundreds of thousands of deaths in America confirm that.

People are already afraid without any governmental help . . . . .

Not one person I know is afraid. My family and I not not afraid of anything. I was never afraid of it from day one.

Maybe you hang out with to many leftist cowards who stupidly fall for fear tactics.

Only a fool would be afraid of a virus with a 0.04% mortality rate.

Sure, don't wear a hard hat on an industrial site or wear a mask or gloves or any other PPE when required to as part of your job as well, right?

Wow, your ignorance regarding Covid is just flabbergasting.

Is this man ignorant?

Tell that to the families and loved ones of people who have died from the thing.

No one is denying that people have died from the virus. But let's be real here, it's not ebola, it's not SARS, it's politics playing medicine.
