From what I know, which isn't much, as applied physics is boring to me, they cannot generate enough anti-matter to light up more than an old time light bulb. So, it is something for therm to do and speculate about. Makes news, which generates more money for advertisers than science.

It isn't anitmatter, its really a common phenomena. The article explains it, I think your right, they are just advertising it to make money, since it isn't really a big issue.
