He would not have gone to the cross if it was not needed. No one took His life. He laid it down for His love.
That is an excellent point for those who say Jesus was not the Sacrificial Lamb of God.

No one earns the Holy Spirit.

You are treading on dangerous grounds when you say that, for you could hinder others from being saved.

Jesus saves us all on his own; however, Jesus chooses those he saves, and he chooses those who obey him.

Repent. To have salvation is to have his life. We are complete in him. The saints are indwelt and have the mind of Christ. I am certain you think you will be rewarded for having a personal relationship and not backsliding.

To have the mind of Christ is to have an obedient mind.

Lovin' license (Ps 50:21). Not so hot on law (Ps 119:97). :sozo2:

There is a new law a new covenant.

Jesus came to earth and taught the guidelines for the new covenant.

When Jesus died, he shed his blood for the new covenant.

No more eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth and arm for an arm.

No more having a sin and being separated from God when you can find mercy and forgiveness through Jesus.

No more circumcision, no more observing special days, no more dietary law, no more sacrifice of animals.

Obey the new law, the teaching of Jesus Christ, the law that requires faith.
