You have to be a paid subscriber not just a registered user to enjoy the chatbox, woodshed, or other functions on TOL, $30/year for a bronze membership is cheap enough. The money pays for server & domain fees amongst other things, if you enjoy TOL you will enjoy it more as a member. :D
