I like Ron Paul, but he's a right wing libertarian that doesn't have a problem with centralized power as long as it's business that wields that power. I oppose centralized power in general. I oppose government and private business having the authority to dominate society.

So pro abortion (left up to the respective States), pro homosexuality, pro pornography (kiddy porn included) and pro legalization of all recreational drugs makes Ron Paul a "right wing Libertarian"? (If Daddy Paul is right wing Libertarian, I'd hate to see a left wing one).

Right and Left Libertarian tends to be more descriptive of attitude towards checks on corporate power, not social issues as left and right libertarians are typically in agreement with most social issues.

I'm not sure what Eurpean countries have to do with Ron Paul believing that murdering unborn babies should be left up to the respective US States.

Paul doesn't believe in any meaningful regulations of business. An example of a left libertarian would be someone like Noam Chomsky or Bill Maher I suppose. The first people to use the term "libertarian" were left libertarians.

"Meaningful" covers a wide spectrum. I gather that Daddy Paul doesn't want any regulation of private business (those silly zoning laws where you're not allowed to open a night club in a residential neighborhood and health laws where inspectors come into your restaurant and make sure you're not serviing rat instead of chicken, etc.) as opposed to someone like foul mouthed atheist Bill Maher who would want to over-regulate private businesses?

Regular murder of a person who is already born is a state crime, so why wouldn't murdering an unborn baby be a state crime as well?
