I disagree. Democrats are fully aware of all the money laundering going on in Ukraine because they are the ones who are benefiting from it.

Allow me to clarify: The rank and file Democrat voter does not understand what countries are, and what countries are not, in our national interest to defend. They always want to use the military for humanitarian purposes. That is not what the military is for.

You are correct though regarding the big-wigs and politicians: They ARE fully aware of the money laundering going on in Ukraine, and they ARE the ones who are benefiting from it.

Amnesty International says Ukrainian fighting tactics endanger civilians

Ukrainian forces have put civilians in harm’s way by establishing bases and operating weapons systems in populated residential areas, including in schools and hospitals, as they repelled the Russian invasion that began in February, Amnesty International said today.

Such tactics violate international humanitarian law and endanger civilians, as they turn civilian objects into military targets. The ensuing Russian strikes in populated areas have killed civilians and destroyed civilian infrastructure.

“We have documented a pattern of Ukrainian forces putting civilians at risk and violating the laws of war when they operate in populated areas,” said Agnès Callamard, Amnesty International’s Secretary General.

“Being in a defensive position does not exempt the Ukrainian military from respecting international humanitarian law.”

I'm sure that by now the Ukrainians know the use of a hospital would be of no use as a defensive tactic, as the Russians are in the habit of making them prime targets.
What does Amnesty International have to say about the Russian invasion of Ukraine?
Or about their use of poison gas in Syria?
(Those are rhetorical questions)
