Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

Matthew, Luke, and John clearly tell us: GOD the Holy Spirit miraculously created a fetus in Mary's womb. Gabriel told Mary to call this baby "Jesus", and the Son of God. Jesus was born of Mary (with an inherited sinful nature) ... and thus He was fully man. Then at some point, GOD the Word...

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

Most translations call the Logos ... the Word. Would thou carest to show where I disagree with the above quote of John 1:1-14? News Flash ... the God part of Jesus Christ, which was the Logos, the Word, was with Father God in the beginning. It's quite a shame that people like you cannot...

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

I believe it simply because it is all Scriptural. How about proving one or more parts of it is not Scriptural.

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

I'm just trying to point out that Jesus Christ, who was fully man ad fully God, was NOT in heaven with the Father in the beginning! To say so is totally ridiculous. Jesus Chris was "created" on one particular day by the Holy Spirit, and some time later the Word became flesh-human-Jesus. While...

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

I guess the confusion is a technical one ... a matter of semantics. E.G. Since Jesus Christ was born on a specific day, He couldn't have been in heaven prior to that day. This is all I'm talking about.

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

The "fully man" and "fully God" Jesus is not the same Person as the Word of John 1 who is "fully God". People like you must believe that ... "The Word (Jesus) became flesh (Jesus)" (John 1:14)

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

NO ONE denies that the Word became flesh-human-Jesus. But, Jesus becoming Jesus makes no sense at all. So, before the Incarnation, the Word was NOT Jesus. John 1:1-2 should make it obvious that the Triune Godhead before the Incarnation was The Father, The Word, The Holy Spirit.

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

The main motive is to reveal some of the garbage church leaders have foisted upon the church. E.G. Jesus being in heaven with the Father in the beginning is kindergarden garbage. It was the Word who was in heaven with the Father in the beginning! Because @ dis point ... "Jesus" wasn't even born...

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

Jesus is speaking here as the One He knew He really was (GOD the Word).

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

John 17:5 ... Jesus recognizes that the Word became Jesus (John 1:14). Jesus recognizes that He really is the Word ... who was in heaven at the very beginning. It's all quite confusing, isn't it. What makes things even worse is when John says: "Jesus Christ has come in the flesh" (1 John 4:2)...

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

This Mod had me banned from this other Forum, but, lo and behold, 10 days later ... I'm allowed back on as if nothing ever happened. IMO, someone showed him the error of his ways! The Holy Spirit came to lead us into all (spiritual) Truth ... ref. the Gospel of John and 1 John

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

News Flash! ... Jesus Christ was BOTH man and God. Did the Word come down from heaven in an earthly body like Jesus had? Church leaders have taught some untruths to the body of Christ, and people like you have been deceived about several things. Some of the false doctrine has been due to...

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

Let's not forget that Jesus was both fully man and fully God. So, this Jesus did not exist prior to when He was born. The Word (Jesus) did NOT come down from heaven and "became" flesh. Then, we would erroneously have ... The Word (Jesus) became Jesus (John 1:14). I had to explain this to a Mod...

Do some of the Scriptural Truths offend you?

If any of these Scriptural Truths offend you … you just simply have NOT been taught the Truth! Below each Scriptural Truth is one or more proofs from the NT. 1 ● The original Trinity was God the Father, God the Word, and God the Holy Spirit God the Son was not there! This should be obvious from...

Unable to Believe the “Foolish” Gospel

If you don't understand and believe in original sin, you are in a very poor spiritual condition! If the Holy Spirit teaches Christians anything, it is that all humans are born with an inherited sin nature. This is a most fundamental doctrine and is the main reason why the Word was sent to...

    Understanding God’s election

Our God is a God of JUSTICE ... the unrighteous who sin are to be punished. But, our God is a God of MERCY and GRACE (undeserved favor) ... so, He decided to save some of the human race. Since they were/are totally incapable of choosing Jesus and the Gospel (as per the OP) ... He had/has to give...

Unable to Believe the “Foolish” Gospel

Of course, He is ... but, according to His definition, not yours. God's whole justice is >>> sin is to be punished. The righteous will go unpunished. The unrighteous are to be punished. That's His justice system, like it or not. Now, if He chooses to give some unrighteous sinners His grace...

Unable to Believe the “Foolish” Gospel

God is unjust in your opinion (and that of many others), and God is unjust by your definition (and that of many others). This why the Gospel is presented to appear to be just ... open to everyone. It must be presented in a positive note. God has chosen to whom of the habitually sinful human...
