I guess the confusion is a technical one ... a matter of semantics. E.G. Since Jesus Christ was born on a specific day, He couldn't have been in heaven prior to that day. This is all I'm talking about.

The "fully man" and "fully God" Jesus is not the same Person as the Word of John 1 who is "fully God". People like you must believe that ... "The Word (Jesus) became flesh (Jesus)" (John 1:14)

NO ONE denies that the Word became flesh-human-Jesus. But, Jesus becoming Jesus makes no sense at all. So, before the Incarnation, the Word was NOT Jesus. John 1:1-2 should make it obvious that the Triune Godhead before the Incarnation was The Father, The Word, The Holy Spirit.
