    Who’s it to?

A shepherd watches a flock...right? Isn't the word "pastor" a substitute for shepherd? We know Paul spoke of pastors. (Eph 4:11)

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Can't you give a scripture for your POV? If all of scripture doesn't "speak to you", perhaps you are not included in scripture.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Not to Paul, Silas, or any on the council at Jerusalem. Or Crispus, Apollos, Aquila, Priscilla, etc. They, like all the Jewish believers, are free from the Law of Moses...save what is written in our hearts. If they are not free of the Law, they are not Christians. And they are still in the OT.

Barnabas was also an apostle to mankind. (Acts 14:14)

Beloved57 are you sure you’re chosen?

Is manifesting your faith one of the "works" you mention? ie., helping the needy, or, refraining from murder?

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

And to any Jew who would turn from sin because of his preaching. Not at all. As we won't really know who gets saved until we hear their names were in the book of life on the last day, your point is moot. I do know that the good news, (gospel), was first illustrated by John the Baptist in Luke...

    Hooray For Pedophilia!

Sadly, that will never happen. How about John 3:19..."And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness." What percent of the world is John's "we"? .000001%?

    Hooray For Pedophilia!

Yikes ! What happened to love your enemies, and pray for them, and do good to them?

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

And he was a Jew. Do you figure any other Jews might listen to Paul, who was, according to your interpretation, not an apostle to other Jews? Crispus might have a problem with that. Aquila, Priscilla, Apollos, and The Bereans might also disagree with you. Personally, I prefer unity in the...

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

I am glad of that. I thank God for allowing us the ways and means of showing our belief, by enabling our obedience to Him who is God.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Thank God we don't have to be "in the flesh" anymore ! Isn't following a Jew who follows Christ the same as following Christ?

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

KJV..."But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." (Heb 10:39) Your version of scripture is...playing tricks on you.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Amen, and 1 Peter 3:21 is the verse that convinced me, who had been baptized as a baby, to get baptized of my own free will. I wanted that "clear conscience toward God" more than anything else on earth. Water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins is more than just one thing.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

I don't claim my escapes in traffic were because of a gift of the Holy Spirit. Like healing and interpretation of tongues. But I will always consider my escapes as miracles.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

I don't recall that question, and I know I didn't say those words, as the vessel I have is far from perfect. However, the One which is inside me, and holding the steering wheel, is perfect.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Romans 6:6, (the answer to Ron 7:24), and Romans 8:2, (the answer to Rom 7:23), make it clear that my interpretation is spot on.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

In one sense, it is. We have been given a new, divine nature, and the Spirit of God...the Comforter. We have been supplied with prophets, teachers, elders, pastors, and God's word. But we are surrounded by things that would love to make manifest that we have been fooling ourselves.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

That is just another fine exhortation to stay on top of your self. Stay in control of yourself. By ignoring Paul's warning, many will be found wanting at the final judgement.
