I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Where is the sin in obeying what they should have seen as a defunct Law? Did they do it to rebel against God? To hurt someone? No they were just trying to make visitors feel at home...sorta. I know there is nothing wrong with having a beer, OK? But when some Jehovah's Witnesses come by with...

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Absolutely. 1 Cor 10:13 is testimony of that..."There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." The...

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Those walking in the Spirit are equipt to reject temptations...all the time. Or do you think Paul was in error when he wrote..."This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." (Gal 5:16) I know he was right.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Yes. Really? Am I not bringing new revelations to you? About 1 John 1? And Romans 7? You do realize that the "book" John is referencing is the "book" of revelations. Besides, clarifications of misunderstood scriptures is not "changing" anything.

You couldn't answer my question? I thank God for making it possible to obey Him flawlessly.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Nope, just the two Jesus commanded...Love God with all your strength and love your neighbor as you love yourself. They are for "us". Exhortations and warnings are all over the NT letters. They are to be adhered to like a life preserver. Born again believers, (the only kind of believer), live...

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

It would be stranger if Paul told them to walk in the Spirit if it was impossible. As he said...walk in the Spirit and you won't fulfil the lusts of the flesh. The same holds true for us who have crucified the flesh, with the affections and lust, (Gal 5:24), today.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Nope, but Peter hadn't been reborn yet. He was still a man of the flesh until he was given the gift of the Holy Ghost.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

It wasn't the "emissaries" who were not walking "uprightly", it was Peter and Barnabas, etc., who decided to let the old customs creep in as though those customs had any bearing on the body of Christ.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

"It" doesn't say..."when the bible is completed". The modern church DOES have prophets. M own conversion was a miracle. The gift of tongues has NOT disappeared. Show where it was written that the gift of tongues was for the unbelieving Jews, only?

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Do you realize that with the death of our old man and the rebirth of the new man, we can keep the original Law of Moses? It is in our new, divine, nature to do the things God had to spell out in stone for the fleeing Israelites. By that standard, all Christians should be "zealous of the Law". Do...

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

As we have no idea what those from James did when they arrived, perhaps they went to Antioch just to try out the freedoms inherent in Christianity. Maybe they wanted to try local cuisine? I just wish there was more to the Gal 2 recollection.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

These are the laws we are to obey...Love God with all your might, and love your neighbor as you love yourself. If one does not do them, he is not converted or in submission to God. He serves himself above God...which is idolatry.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

And you present a gospel void of Christ. The "gospel of the kingdom"...that the kingdom of God is come near you...has been fulfilled by our inclusion in Christ, who IS THE KING.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

"IF" is the key to your question. Walk in the Spirit and you won't fulfill the lusts of your now dead flesh. If you do fulfill the lusts of the flesh, you are not in the Spirit. You can only be of one or the other.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Can you please define the difference between miracles and "special" miracles? Was Paul's recovery from the stoning he endured a "special" or regular miracle? How about the earthquake in Thyatira that freed Paul and Silas? How about the survival of the storm on the way to Rome? When do you...

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

You don't equate obedience to God with "sinlessness"? I do.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

Yes it does, and verse 10 says "have not sinned". No definite time line is made.

I never talk to Jesus or the Holy Spirit

I'm sorry you can't see it. Why can't a man who has had all his sins washed away by the blood of Christ, (V7), say has has no sin, (v8)? The conflict there can only be resolved with the alternating verse system. The same alternating verse system Paul uses in Rom 8 to juxtapose those who walk in...
