Is that because we are discussing an unarmed-17-year-old-killer right now?

dude

guilford had arms

with hands on the end of them

which he was using to do this:

maybe we should issue samurai swords to our cops and when they get attacked they can chop off the arms of their attackers

then they'll really be unarmed

How about "attack a cop without any weapons, and you are going to get arrested, charged and prosecuted" like in civilised countries?

You mean IF they live through the attack, right?

Bottomline ... when someone shoots, stabs or runs over a cop with their vehicle, the absence of outrage is mind-boggling.

Funny, I was unaware of cop killers roaming the country shooting cops with impunity and then getting away with it. I was also unaware that civilians were to be held to a higher standard than their ostensible public servants, and I sure didn't know that corruption, cover ups, and outright lies were involved in this epidemic of civvie-on-cop violence.

Yep. Missed that memo.

No, that is not the reason. It's because those who are outraged see the lives of cops as expendable and of less value than criminals.

What crime had been committed by the time the cop started the aggression?

guilford violated the law by flashing his headlights at frost

frost was justified in pulling guilford over

guilford violated the law by refusing to produce his license, registration and proof of insurance

frost was justified in arresting guilford

guilford violated the law in resisting arrest

frost was justified in attempting to tase him

guilford violated the law in assaulting frost

frost was justified in shooting guilford

So you seem to think outrage at police brutality and abuse of power precludes someone from ever feeling sympathy for an officer who goes down in the line of duty.

Yup.

Not handing over documents is a simple misdemeanor, not justifying escalating the stop to six body shots and a kill shot to the head.

you're missing a couple of steps

step 1: flashing headlights
step 2: refusing to hand over documents when asked
step 3: refusing to comply with officers commands when being placed under arrest
step 3a: resisting arrest
step 4. refusing to submit to taser
step 5: assaulting police officer

when guilford reached step 5, frost was justified in pulling his sidearm and emptying his clip
