Just goes to show the way of all things...

Jerry has his views, STP et al have theirs, I have mine.

Trolling through some old posts, I saw where John W and I hold a very similar view on an issue he posted about.

I am sure we might differ on others.

We each agree on some things, and differ on others.

Question is, and it often appears a wasted one; do we differ on the important ones?

We each believe we do differ on some important ones, not just on some minor ones.

And such will continue to be the case after we are all long gone.

Whether or not the Romans were saved before Paul wrote them, does not matter if Romans is held as for the Body.

Our Acts 28 brothers and sisters in the Lord, assert, for example, that no; that it is largely someone else's truth.

What remains is the question of if what each side asserts negatively impacts any major teaching intended by the Apostle Paul, say in his Acts Epistles as to establishment truth meant for the Body.

That right there is really the issue that should matter as to any of these issues.

And we will differ on the importance of that as well.
