The ones I watch (which doesn’t include Faux News) show peaceful protesters VS government sanctioned terrorists, donning blue uniforms. If not for the actions of the right wing zealot GOP and trumpeteers, BLM’s wouldn’t be necessary. While I don’t agree with violence, it is the result of systemic racism. The mobs are the guys in blue who see dark skin as their “get out of jail free card” as long as those who they intentionally batter and murder have dark skin.
There is no valid defense of the uniformed, mobsters-in-blue.

That last is from Jacobin, I included it because you identify with democratic socialism, but to be honest, it seems to me you're kind of all over the place. (Which is fine of course if it works for you, but I find it confusing to keep up with at times.)

This is the way BLM/Antifa work--Cops shoot a Black criminal, and other Black and White criminals respond by going out into the city to destroy innocent people's livelihoods by rioting, looting, vandalism, arson, assault, murder, etc. Does that sound like a good idea to you?
Did you even look at the links? The Vox link adequately explains the controversy around the beating, and I pretty much agree with their analysis. Honestly, you don’t sound too much like a democratic socialist except when you’re talking about abortion. Did you ever used to be a libertarian at one time?
Videos can be misleading. Sometimes they tell us exactly what happened, sometimes they don’t show what came before or what came after that would add context. I’m not denying it happened. Really, I wish you would take a look at the links, they won’t be a waste of your time, I promise. And why is it okay with you to use sources that are questionable, while consistently bashing the so-called mainstream media?
And by the way, justifying police brutality by describing the victims as “black criminals” when anyone who is arrested has rights under the law, It comes across as racist.

I would describe my default political position as left of center, but in practical terms, I am not polarized. I follow what the Greeks called "the golden mean" and what Buddha called "the Middle Way." The truth can be found somewhere in the middle of the extremes.

I'm glad you accept the reality of what the video shows. It doesn't matter who's Twitter feed I found it on. All that matters is if the video itself is legit or not. It is.
Okay thanks. I have to disagree though, it does matter what Twitter feed you found it on. Sources need to be vetted. I don’t happen to trust him as a source, so I won’t take information from him at face value because he hasn’t earned it.
