Guys who were home-schooled by Christian conservatives keep killing people

Just last week, a 29-year-old white male from Illinois shot up a Waffle House in Nashville, Tennessee killing four people. A motive has still not been identified, but it is likely that racism was a factor.

Last month, a 23-year-old white male from Texas terrorized the Austin community when he left bombs on people’s porches killing 2 men and injuring several other people. His motive for the bombings was race related.

And also last month, a 28-year-old white male from Wisconsin destroyed himself and an apartment building when he accidentally blew himself up in his homemade bomb lab that contained 13 jars of a highly explosive liquid. As white supremacist literature was found in the rubble of his apartment, it can be assumed that he had racist intentions for using those bombs.

Besides being homicidal, white, and racist, what else did these three terrorists have in common? They were all raised by conservative Christians and home-schooled.

The Waffle House shooter’s mother made the claim on Facebook that the decline of prayer in school was a direct correlation to the rise of school shootings which is why she was in such favor of home-schooling. Bit ironic, really.

What is happening in Christian America that they are raising so many killers? What is the Christian community doing to root out these problems in their midst?

That dosen't seem to take into account the flurry of (public) school mass shootings. But it does add weight to the suggestion that young(er) people are more likely to be multiple killers.

You'll have to do better than citing three isolated wack job examples as any kind of a supposedly air-tight indictment against the home-school movement, "Christian" or otherwise.

Yes, I'm being a bit facetious here, but isn't this similar logic used by the Christians here vis-a-vis terrorist incidents and Muslims (that all Muslims are responsible)?

Ultimately, anyone raised in any environment can become a mass killer, and Christian homeschooled children don't seem to have any particular immunity to it.

And provides counter examples that lack of God in the public schools (or lack of Christian religion in the household), or public school eduction itseld is responsible for producing mass shooting/killing incidents, and that Christian homeschooling is a remedy.

A re-wording towards addressing that also, then...

You'll have to do better than citing a click of wack job examples within "Christianity" no matter how large said click might or might not be, as any kind of a supposedly air-tight indictment against all Christians as to that issue.

And we're agreed as to the point in your second paragraph.

I agree that home schooling IS a (one) remedy. The culprit, to my thinking, is mass education. Humans aren't naturally raised in a mass herd environment.
Our education served us well when schools were seldom over a hundred or so students.
Most of the high school shootings are at schools with as many as 4,000 students. In that sort of environment, the students live in a totally artificial and often brutal social structure where they, the students, hold sway.

The irony is that the Scripture teaches that prior to Christ dying on the Cross for man's sins, The Law (Ten Commandments, etc) had been meant to set off the very mis-behavior in man that it speaks out against.

Why?

See Romans 5; Romans 7; Galatians 3; etc.

Meaning that those calling for applying Israel's Law to a Gentile (pagan) nation's Laws and or its public school system, haven't a clue what they are actually calling for.

Even with the nation Israel itself, their Law (Moses) had not been meant to curb the transgressions it speaks out against. Rather, it had been meant to set them off in one.

But what is really behind the so called Religious Right's insistencies is nothing more than the Scriptural ignorance of bigots insisting on forcing their ignorance on anyone they self-righteously look down their ever bigoted noses at.

Here is your very point, by Christ Himself...

Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

This is so ignorant that its pathetic. Men eat pie. Men kill people. Ergo men who eat pie kill people.

Well, since most killers went to PUBLIC school then that mean public school produced more killers than anything else, right?

Speaking of public school this thread is a fine example of the failure of the education system

Except we are social creatures. We evolved to interact with others.

J-dog, in that case, you ought to go against the grain, stay at home, and don't interact with anybody. That way, the world will be a better place. Just face the truth about yourself, you really don't have that much to offer anybody anyway, right? Think about it. I believe you'll make the right choice.

Anybody who thinks that gang-infested, drug-infested schools and better for your kid than the bosom of your own home is an idiot. As for interacting with kids, there are all sorts of sports programs, cub scouts, or whatever, that kids can join and get all the interaction they need.
Home schooling is the ONLY way to go today, especially with schools shoving the gay agenda and trans filth down kids' throats.
