I'm trying to challenge what I understand to be truth

Curious. To what end? What I mean is that wouldn't your time be better spent moving beyond what you feel confirmed in and looking to expand your understanding? Because if you're not sure of it then you can't really say you understand and you're really here to confirm a suspicion or find corroboration, no?
