This thread isn't about homosexuality, either, but you sure brought it up in a hurry.
In fact, the only reason I mentioned her was due to my anger at you for mocking a dyslexic person over his homeschool education, and now you are trying to backpeddle out of your mess. I think you'd have better luck forgetting this and getting yourself into a debate on your favorite topic.
A quick review of the thread shows that I used the word ONCE in response to your post (not including the original link that belittled the 19 year old "preacher"), and a blogger by the name of "1PeaceMaker" used the word "homosexuality" FIVE TIMES.
Now who is obsessed with sexual perversion here?

We can play at public school playgrounds which are open during after-school hours, and we get to meet children and parents there of all educational backgrounds.
Yeah, good friends are made at playgrounds, playing with "what's his name?" for a half hour.

Even Prussian mind control freaks?
Checking my map, we're not in, nor have we ever been in a country called "Prussia", nor one that is run by "Prussians".
Do you teach these freaky ideas at your homeschool?

What a false choice. Hmmm, either I teach them myself or I deliver them to fascist brainwashing facilities which resemble prisons.
I'll tell several of the public school teachers that attend my church that a good Christian blogger referred to them as a "fascist", I'm sure they'll laugh at you like I'm doing.
Well, if that really was the only other option, then there is no doubt the Bible says I'm to train up my child. Better not leave that to the brain-washers. Come on. You know the issue here is not whether or not we have private tutors. The issue is that public school isn't meeting our children's needs or allowing us to protect them adequately from immorality and dangerous influences. I really do prefer to take personal responsibility for my children's education. For some reason that makes you think I couldn't take them to a class or have them be instructed by a private tutor. Who ever gave you that false impression?
You scare me. I wouldn't let a child even be near your kind on a playground, let alone in a classroom setting. You're obviously insecure about the way you raise your child, thinking that what you teach them at home won't carry over into their public life experiences.

This country was not founded on public schools.
It was one of many institutions that made America great. And then the so-called "Christians" ran and ran fast when the going got tough there. Keep running 1PM, because they're coming after your church next.
Do you even know how how our founders were tutored?
What was the population of America back in 1700?
(275,000). Public schools are a necessity today.

I didn't see a history of American education. Just a bunch of old textbooks. So what? Because of the nature of public education, it's a mob-ruled system. What is trendy goes, while the individual and their needs are playing second-fiddle at best, hence my sister being given up on so easily.
We could play this game all day:
"Sharon and Reed Leonard, adopted 10 children from Ethiopia and China, 4 through disruptions. At least 6 of the children are alleged to have been forced to sleep ouside in calf hutchs, and were beaten with paddles, plastic pipes or metal rods. The children were homeschooled."

People that homeschool are definitely a different kind of people.
