Former Vice President Mike Pence will urge Republicans to move on from the 2020 election, declaring “there is no room in this party for apologists for Putin” as he further cements his break from former President Donald Trump.

Pence, in a speech Friday evening to the party’s top donors in New Orleans, will take on those in his party who have failed to forcefully condemn Russian President Vladimir Putin for his unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.

Pence will also continue to push back on Trump’s lies about the 2020 election as he lays the groundwork for a possible 2024 presidential run.

“Elections are about the future,” Pence will say. “My fellow Republicans, we can only win if we are united around an optimistic vision for the future based on our highest values. We cannot win by fighting yesterday’s battles, or by relitigating the past.”

Pence is proving he is wrong about democrat voter fraud if he thinks accusations of voter fraud are lies.

All humans, not just politicians on both sides of the aisle, tend to spin facts into lies to avoid blame. We all know of guilty crooks and thugs who proclaim their innocence and blame others for their crimes and failures. We all know of partisans who blame those in the opposing party for failures that are really their own, not those of their opponents.

Sund later told The Washington Post that his requests for help were rejected or delayed six times before or during the attack. Both the House and Senate sergeant-at-arms rejected his pre-emptive request for National Guard troops, Sund said, while the Pentagon denied his pleas during the attack. Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) similarly said that the Department of Defense denied repeated requests for National Guard intervention on Jan. 6. The Washington Post later reported that D.C. National Guard Commander Gen. William Walker’s power was restricted by Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy and Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller in the run-up to the Capitol attack, making it more difficult for him to quickly mobilize troops. Ultimately, National Guard personnel did not arrive at the Capitol until 5:30 p.m.—hours after the attack began—by which point four people had died.

I have no idea. That's why I think it's so weird. Hopefully the answer will be revealed after the patriots succeed in this current war against the deep state.
