A person who is biased will never understand the spirit of the Quran anymore than an anti-theist with a Bible. Islam is a peaceful religion- apparently a lot of people just don't want to acknowledge that radicals are seen as blasphemous and against God by Muslims themselves. This is not up for debate.

The problem right now is that Muslims are impressionable nonetheless by them and that is why there needs to be some sort of mechanism to hinder their population in the country at the present moment. It's a tough call that the Left is too PC to call and which the Right finds an opportunity to be absurdly prejudice with.

Of COURSE it's up for debate. You just fail to acknowledge that what you call "radicals" are just more devout and immersed Muslims. The reason that they are not generally denounced by others is that they know that to do so would go against the Quran and they are unwilling to do that. Why are you so easily deceived?

I'm not the one deceived. Part of society has deluded themselves with demonizing Islam.
Saying the radicals are just 'more devout' is ignorant- they are fanatics like some of the Church were in the Crusades, with an apocalyptic mindset in delivering the Kingdom.

The super majority of Islam is not this demon you all have come to bear false witness on. Muslims quite frankly just don't feel obligated to help the 1st World for reasons you could understand if you all stopped acting like pompous lunatics- they don't owe you support, you all have been bombing the Middle East and their homelands to all high Hell for decades. You think you are going to get the desired answer when you go and scrutinize them about what they siding with?

The people you are bringing up are those who those like you created with your hatred. They are clinging to a militant interpretation because they are angry. Christians do it, Jews do it, every religion does it. Go to any mosque, go to Mecca, go anywhere and there is a religion of peace. Many people need to get a grip.

Just because many of them live in a religious state doesn't mean they aren't peaceful, they just don't do the religious freedom thing which is a relatively new construct. Several hundred years ago you wouldn't feel so keen on rejecting Christianity.
