"the dems slide into Marxism" you say? The fact is that the US has a long way to go even to match the democratic socialism of Nordic countries (perfect example: Medicare for all).

If you think "the dems are sliding into Marxism" then you don't have much of any clue of what you're talking about. Hyperbolic nonsense is what it is.

Not even remotely of course. Consider the "Nordic model" of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nordic_model

And you can't say it hasn't been successful for them. Standard of living, quality of life, life expectancy, happiness, etc., all are very high in those countries.

Not for those who don't like the government telling them how their children should be raised.
Families who had been home educating successfully for many years prior to 2011 were suddenly denied permission and threatened with the social authorities and fines of up to 20,000 euros per child and year. This has led to Swedish home educators fleeing Sweden to other nearby countries where home education is permitted.

No system is perfect but there's no denying the relative success of the Nordic model.

With outspoken Christians in jail? Seems a step back to barbarism and Islamic in tenor to me. I wonder if it is because she is a politician and they aren't somehow allowed like the rest of us, to read the Bible out loud 🤔

I don't have a dog in this hunt personally, but even that most conservative of institutions, the United States military, has seen fit to allow homosexuals to serve openly.

We are getting tired of conspiracy theories. There was the stupid conspiracy theory accusing Bush of starting the Iraq war so he could get his hands on Iraqi oil. There was the conspiracy theory that right-wing conspirators ruined Hillary's chances in 2008. There's the ridiculous conspiracy theory that Trump invented the Hunter Biden/Ukrainian mobster 'business' connection. There's the theory that nobody assassinated Seth Rich and that Trump conspired with Russians to fool tens of millions of voters into thinking Hillary was less qualified than Trump, and so many more.
