It's been a long-standing tradition at TOL to mock cry babies and whiners, and watch them scamper about to defend themselves.

Even though you call me "stupid" and tell me to shut my mouth, I am not required to mock you or attack you. And I won't. I don't have to. I think enough of myself and don't have to elevate me in others' eyes by cruel taunts and immature reactions.
If it's very painful for you to criticize your friends --you're safe in doing it. But if you take the slightest pleasure in it, that's the time to hold your tongue.

I love to take my grandkids to ToysR Us, but it is pretty overwhelming. We take a basket and then trade up as we go through the store. Not everything gets put back into the correct place. :chuckle:
Cuties. It's sad when they grow up.
But, as we've seen...it's sadder when they don't.
The sadism and cruelty in these posts is not some infectious disease that strikes a person all of a sudden.
It has a long prehistory in childhood and always originates in the desperate fantasies of a child who is searching for a way out of a hopeless situation.
