Actually public schools weren't designed to destroy children. Our Founding Fathers started public education with a huge biblical influence. It was when Christians allowed secular humanists to take control of public (and in many cases private) education, the trouble started.

Does this book have info on home schooling?

My daughter-in-law is working as a part time substitute teacher at the moment, to better prepare herself for home schooling.
Hopefully by next year.

aCW has a very good point here. The early American settlers educated their children that placed a heavy emphasis on the Bible, family, and the Christian life.

Public schools are supposed to be places for TEACHING, not
preaching . There are more kids than ever before in them whose parents are not Christian , and who are followers of virtually every religion there is, as well as atheists and agnostics .
No one has the right to indoctrinate non-christian kids with Christian dogma . This is a blatant violation of the rights of both their parents and the youngsters . Kids can pray all they want in church and at home and read the Bible all they want, but public schools are NOT the place for this .
In the past, before mandatory school prayer was removed from schools, it was common for teachers and even administrators to punish and shame kids who were not Christian for refusing to participate in school prayer, and this is actually happening today in some schools !
Freedom of religion applies to ALL Americans, not only Christians .

While a certain religion is given special priveleges by school administrators during school hours (Muslims are given a special room that they can go to so that they can lick their prayer rugs or whatever the barbarians do when they're praying to their false god), the secular humanist war is specifically against Christianity.

Teachers that once quoted the "thou shalt nots" have been replaced with drag queens and proud sexual deviants who show children how to put a condom on a cucumber, lead LGBTQueer clubs and if they can't open Planned Parenthood clinics on school property, will gladly give a student a ride to the nearest one (you know, all of those very important things children should have knowledge about and have access to in a secular humanist society).

In other words our public school system (due to numerous law suits) will tolerate children worshipping that 'imaginary sky god' (for now), but by no means will they promote it.

The examples I'm aware of are where the school allows Muslim students to go to a private room and pray at the times mandated by their religion, such as this one in Arizona. As the article notes, only Muslim students have made such a request, they were allowed to use an already-existing room, and should another religious group make a similar request the school will accommodate.

Except that wasn't our Founding Fathers original intent. But if we get to talking about the Founding Fathers you and your fellow secular humanists will start using words like "deists" and "slave owners", i.e. displaying your ignorance our of nation's Christian forefathers.

I'll gladly debate you anytime on the original intent of our Founding Fathers Mr. Fly. You can bring a representative from the American Civil Liberties Union along for backup if you wish.

Christians don't need to lick a rug in order to pray. The point is that your supposed "separation of church and state" isn't being strictly enforced as you claim it should be.
