We are having too much rain this year in San Antonio, and not sign of getting much sun light ahead.

My vegies are not doing so well because of lack of sun light.

We got part of the remnants of your last tropical storm this morning. We're supposed to get the rest of it tonight and tomorrow morning. I love rain. It cools the air down here and makes it somewhat bearable.

Yes, we need rain but if we get rain just about every other day, we cannot grow vegies.

Flowers and bushes are still blooming with all these rains..

I love gardening but this year I have been working in the mud most of the time. It is just too wet.

ebenz , then please send any rain left to the West Coast. Especially Central Ca. About a 1/2 of good old American produce is grown there. We certainly need the produce and need to help the farmer's who are in peril. If the San Joaquin Valley farmers fall. It will only add more desperation to the surrounding communities . And more foreign produce will land on our store shelves.

I grew up (mostly) in central CA. I lived mostly in the Modesto to Merced area. What's going on there, with the water restrictions, is one reason that I want to have my own garden. I already know that produce prices are going to rise because of their drought.
