Then when we hear gross error being taught we are just to ignore what Paul said here?:
"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables" (2 Tim.4:2-4).
There is no better example of someone turning their ears from the truth than those who say that Paul wrote these words to unsaved people:
"For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us" (Ro.8:15-18).
Your lack of action in regard to what Paul says at 2 Timothy 4:2-4 leads me to think that you actually agree with STP that Paul would actually write what we read at Romans:8:15-18 to unbelievers.
Do you?
