Had a big problem pointing out directly that drinking is a sin as many say, I suspended questions on this topic because I don't have grounds from scriptures.

Acts 28:15 KJV -1 Timothy 5:23 KJV
(23) Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.
Not only are there instances in scripture of the benefits of wine, but it is also encouraged to make one merry.
Ecclesiastes 9:7 KJV
(7) Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
So, the answer to the question of whether a Christian should drink is "sometimes".

If it causes no one to stumble, offends no one and makes no one weak what then?https://www.openbible.info/topics/moderation
Romans 14:21 It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother stumbles.
How then do we know that no one is stumbles or sin,In and of itself it is not a sin. However, there may be mitigating factors in one's life or just the present circumstances that make it wrong, even if not a sin.

Drinking is not a sin, but drunkenness IS a sin. Those are two different things.Had a big problem pointing out directly that drinking is a sin as many say, I suspended questions on this topic because I don't have grounds from scriptures.
