(11) In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

above.

It's interesting to contemplate the landscape of what Eden may have been like before the fall.
Since there is no "sea" mentioned but only "rivers".
And scripture says the whole land was watered by rising mist:
