Liberals and progressives have their share of delusions, myths and biases.
That is without doubt.
But it is inescapable that an increasing number of Republican primary voters live in some hothouse of intellectual alienation where anger and disinformation thrive.

In Las Vegas casinos they have hidden cameras everywhere because they have found that gays cannot be trusted in those environments.
Gay people have cost the casino industry billions of dollars every year.
That's always been the case and doubt it will ever change. That's why I have such a difficult time watching FOX news even though I do watch it. But when the badmouthing and misinformation starts, that's when I change channels.
Fact : The vast majority of pedophiles are heterosexual . Many of these are married to women and have children . But they have a sick urge to molest children .

I usually watch “the Five,” Bill O’Reilly and Meghan Kelly. I have no use for Hannity and such.
But you are right. The bad-mouthing is continuous and the ignorance of evidence, facts and honest data is always there.
I watch the same. I have no use for Hannity either. Never did.
Interesting choice of words. Data is neither honest nor dishonest. It is just data. You had, in a way, a Freudian slip because you are admitting to dishonest data, which would be lying or cooking the books about something.
If the definition of data is...
"facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis".
Most data is fact. What makes data dishonest is people like you who can't get anything right.
You are too quick to judge people. Ever think maybe people who disagree with you aren't lying. They just disagree?
You are right. And I am with you totally when you say there are also dishonest ways of expressing data.
Then it can't be honest or dishonest. This is done to explain away everybody getting poor under socialism.
Again, that means some is not. Like hiding the decline.
