You are correct that it is not up to me. But our apostle said what he said. Paul warned twice that if anyone preached the gospel other than the one he delivered, called The Gospel of the grace of God, such people were cursed.

At the Council of Trent, Roman cursed anyone who believes the gospel of the grace of God. That anathema is still canon law, and so remains binding upon all Catholics.

One cannot believe a false gospel and be a member of Christ.

One cannot curse the power of God unto salvation and be a Christian.

One cannot trust in what Rome says you have to do to be saved and be a Christian. If he can, then Paul was wrong.
