From docrob57:

Widows – Do we have a responsibility to care for widows?
The church has a responsibility to care for elderly widows. There is no Biblical indication that it is a state responsibility.

Abortion – Do we have a responsibility to protect the unborn? Do women have the right to a choice?
It is a proper responsibility of the state to protect its citizenry, whether or not born. This, of course, includes the responsibility to protect the citizenry from being murdered, and to punish murderers justly.

Women have no Biblical right to murder their children.

Health Care – Do we have a responsibility to care for the sick even if they don’t have insurance?

Again, the Bible does not address the issue of whether the state bears a responsibility to take care of the sick, though there is nothing in the law or anywhere else in the Bible to suggest that care for the ill is a state responsibility. And, I guess I should say, in the context of politics, the "we" to whom you refer is the state.

Child Care – Do we have a responsibility to care for all children in our communities?
Of course not. Parents have a responsibility to care for their own children, but the Bible certainly gives no indication of a collective child care responsibility.

Poverty – Do we have a responsibility to take care of the poor?
A much more complicated question than it would appear to be. First off, and again, here is no Biblical indication of a state responsibility. The Bible does confer upon God's people a responsibility. The question then becomes, what does "taking care of" entail. We know from the book of Ruth, for example, that persons harvesting their fields were to leave behind some of the "droppings" so the poor could go and gather some food. Note that the food was not supposed to be wrapped up and hand delivered to the poor.

In general, the problem with the way we currently view care for the poor actually hurts the poor more than it helps. There is no Biblical mandate to take action that makes us feel all warm and fuzzy about ourselves while fostering a dibilitating dependence among those who are supposedly being helped.

Immigration – What does the Bible say I should do for aliens among us?
We might agree on this one. We are not to discriminate against aliens.

Homosexual agenda – What rights do homosexuals have have?
A right to a traditional marriage?
Basic human and social rights such as healthcare, food, shelter and clothing and doing the work they want?
Does their right to work (assuming it exists) trump the rights of their employer to hire only people with moral views consistent with the employers?
Biblically, homosexuals have a right to a speedy trial and swift execution.

Economy – Is the economy a major point of concern for a Christians?
It shouldn't be.

Environment – Do we have a responsibility to take care of the Environment?
To some extent. Again, this is not a state responsibility, however.

Education – What is our responsibility for educating our children beyond teaching them the Gospel?
The Christian responsibility is to "train up a child" in Godly ways.

Death Penalty – Do Christians have the right and/or responsibility to execute criminals?
Not unless they are employed by the state in an appropriate capacity.

Nationalism – Is America really Gods chosen country?
No, that would be Israel.

Is my primary responsibility owed to:
God?
Country/Flag?
God.

What are Biblical, New Testament only, justifications for going to war?
Why New Testament only?
