Was Gen 1 and 2 one event blended or two separate events?

Anyone interested in hearing/discussing the possibilities of it being a part one and part two event? I'll start it if anyone is interested.
It helps me understand how God could rest and yet the LORD God work. What I see opens my eyes on how to look at the trinity concept.

Genesis 1 and 2 are two different accounts of the same set of events.
They each have a different focus.
