What's the Deal with this bad reputation?

Those whose lives are miserable and yet they can neg rep people they don't like because they disagree with them ...

Then there are those whose lives are so miserable that they start threads to whine about the negative reps they've gotten.

The thing that really grinds my gears is people who throw bad rep around without actually being part of the debate! They just lurk on a thread and neg people, but they have nothing tp contribute to the conversation!

Also he neg repped me for the above post, which is not insulting and is meant to poke fun at the mods.
