I'm going to assume your are JW, which is NOT Christian, so why ask Christians this question?

The names for the days of the week have a pagan origin. Today is Tuesday, and I have done nothing wrong in saying this. It would obviously be wrong to worship pagan gods, but I'm not doing that by using the name for a day of the week. The same is true for celebrating a birthday, Christmas, and Easter. All days belong to God.

Coincidence.... I just seen this thread now after posting the following comment in a birthday thread this morning.

Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another
Seems to me that is what saying happy birthday is - recognizing and honoring another.
